Over the course of one lunar year,
I took a film photograph of water every day, rotating my roll of film with the moon cycles, centering each roll on the full moon. The project had many levels- a commitment to practice, a recognition of the daily (and it's inevitable oscillation between good and mediocre work), and most importantly a year to explore the feminine relationship with water and to acknowledge grief as a bodily experience.
Physically the works exist as photos, installation works, and cyanotype prints.
